I tend to paint small (safe) and have been encouraged (tormented) by artist Steve Arment to GO BIG! So here is the outcome of 2 oil paintings on 36" x 48" canvas. I'm also fairly new to oil paints, so it was doubly intimidating.

That is pretty darn awesome and painting big and detailed: you got it. I am speaking of the grave site painting; 😍 and I like the looser one too. Tell me which way is more fun and relaxing for you to paint?
